Al Pizarro launches a Hip Hop website on MAY 2ND, 2018 The website www.HipHopBlvd launched with the support from Hip Hop Pioneers starting with Coke La Roc, T La Rock DJ Jazzy Jay, Grandwizard Theodore, DJ Rockwell Kevie Kev, Mick Bentson, Mr. Biggs of Soul Sonic Force, DJ Scratchmasta Jazzy G, Eric Orr, MC Kimba from the Infinity 4 MC’s, Johnny Wa, and many more. Held at LORRAINE’S BAR & GRILL in The Bronx. Hip Hop Blvd will gear it’s focus on Hip Hop along with supporting social causes that will create a change. Hip Hop Blvd website now has Contributing that include, Tony Tee for the MC’s page, Real One for the Graffiti page, DJ Switch for the news section and Big Jeff handling the memorial page.

Al Pizarro was a prominent DJ in the New York area, a Billboard Magazine Reporter, Co – owner of SURE record Pool and VIP record pool. Where he received gold and platinum record from Ice Cube, The Sugarhill Gang, Karen Young, Shannon Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Naughty by Nature, Expose, The Above The Rim Soundtrack and The Chronic by Dr Dre. In 1996 VIP Record Pool was awarded the best Rap Record pool in the country from Gavin Magazine from 1996- 1999. Al stay in tune with his music by working in various clubs such as La Mirage, Tapestry, Peoples, 109 Gallery, Skate Key and Roller World to name a few. His ability to pick good music leaded him to finding talent like Judy Torres, Information Society, Expose, Vaughan Mason, Sugar Hill Gang and Afrika Bambaataa & The Soul Sonic Force. His concert events included The Tunnel, Palladium, 1018 and Homebase.

He founded Heavy Rotation Promotions while working for Interscope records under the supervision of VP of Promotions Kevin Black.
